KIDS CLUB Assistant – Immediate Need
Immanuel Christian School, Oshawa
Position: Part-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00–5:45 p.m.
Contract Term: September 2026 to June 2027
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Immanuel Christian School is seeking a KIDS CLUB Assistant. If you are a Christian who follows the Lord, has a heart for children, and desires to nurture and lead our students, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Work with the Kids Club Coordinator and Principal to plan and implement fun, educational, and skill-building activities, including crafts, science activities, sports, and gym games.
Care for approximately 16 children each day from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Attendance will vary, and other staff may assist depending on the number and ages of the children.
Prepare a healthy snack.
Supervise participants and implement appropriate behaviour-management strategies.
Maintain professional and friendly relationships with our community partners and participants’ parents.
Complete and submit required paperwork and reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
One to three years of experience working with children ages 4–12 in a school or program setting.
Availability to work each school day from 3:00–5:45 p.m.
Standard First Aid certification.
A genuine desire and demonstrated ability to work with children.
Energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and flexible.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
