Teachers Needed

Immanuel Christian School is a growing JK–Grade 8 elementary school located in Oshawa, Ontario. Our vision is to educate, encourage, and equip students with godly character while delivering a strong academic program grounded in current pedagogical best practices.

We are seeking several teachers to complete our roster for September of 2026

Specifically, we are looking for:

a full-time grade 5 teacher
a full-time grade 5/6 teacher
a French teacher (full or part time and can be combined with grade 5 or grade 5/6 teacher)
a part-time primary planning teacher

Qualifications

All teachers must be Ontario Certified Teachers (or in the process of obtaining the OCT certification)
Junior qualifications needed for grade 5 and 5/6
Demonstrate strong organizational and classroom management skills
Possess a solid understanding of the Ontario curriculum
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Be a committed Christian who desires to share the love of God with students in both word and action
