Principal’s Message – January 2026

Welcome to Immanuel Christian School!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and get to know our school community. It is my sincere hope that, even as you read these words, you sense the warmth, care, and belonging that await you when you walk through our doors.

I am honoured to serve as Principal of Immanuel Christian School. Over my eight years here, I have witnessed the faithful hand of God at work in powerful and meaningful ways. Immanuel’s story is rooted in the courageous faith of its founding forefathers and sustained by the commitment, perseverance, and love of those who have supported our school, both in the past and today.

Immanuel Christian School is a growing community. We currently serve 242 students, with many more already registered for the 2026–27 school year. I encourage you to explore our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to gain a sense of who we are; a school committed to providing a learning environment of academic excellence, grounded in a Christ-centred worldview and dedicated to cultivating the God-given potential in every child.

We are blessed with highly qualified teachers, smaller class sizes, and a commitment to individual attention and programming where needed. Our staff is deeply dedicated, nurturing, and intentional about living out their Christian faith as examples to their students. Our strong retention rates for both staff and families speak to the positive culture and sense of community at Immanuel, and we are truly grateful for the ongoing partnership and trust of our families. We were also humbled to receive the Consumers Choice Award for Best Private School in the Durham Region last year, an authentic recognition that reflects the confidence families place in our school.
