1. French Teacher 

Immanuel Christian School is a growing JK to Grade 8 elementary school located in Oshawa, Ontario. Our mission is to provide a learning environment of academic excellence with a Christ-centered worldview to cultivate the best in our students.

We are seeking a French teacher for a variety of classes starting in September of 2025. There is flexibility in this role for part-time or full-time and some preference for choice of grades.

This position would involve all typical aspects of teaching French. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work as part of a team, be able to use the Ontario curriculum and demonstrate strong classroom management skills.  You will be mentored by another French teacher as needed. Above all, the candidate must be a Christian who loves to share the love of God with children.

2. Junior Teacher Needed!

We are seeking a junior teacher starting August 25, 2025 who is or will be OCT certified. This full-time position would involve all typical aspects and subjects of teaching in a junior classroom. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work as part of a team, have knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and demonstrate strong classroom management skills.  At Immanuel we use each teacher's strengths to help deliver a varied and excellent curriculum.  Above all, the candidate must be a Christian who loves to share the love of God with children.

3. Kindergarten Teacher Needed - Maternity Leave with future employment possibilities

This is a year long position but due to our rapid growth, there is a possibility for further employment. We are seeking a Kindergarten teacher starting August 25, 2025 who is or will be OCT certified. This temporary full-time position would involve all typical aspects and subjects of teaching in a Kindergarten classroom. You will join two other teams of Kindergarten teachers in the school. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work as part of a team, have knowledge of the Kindergarten expectations and demonstrate strong classroom management skills.  At Immanuel we use each teacher's strengths to help deliver a varied and excellent curriculum.  Above all, the candidate must be a Christian who loves to share the love of God with children.
